As a volunteer group, we believe in the universal power of running, catering to individuals from novice runners to elite athletes.
Our flat course, ideal for both first-time half marathoners and those aiming for a personal best, unfolds through the town center and along the Royal Canal, concluding at Mullingar Town Park.
Beyond the pursuit of personal achievements, we are committed to community welfare. All proceeds from the Mullingar Half Marathon directly benefit our chosen charity, T.E.A.M. (Temporary Emergency Accommodation Midlands). Join our volunteer-driven initiative for a fulfilling run with a purpose.
Our Chosen Charity
We are proud to raise funds for T.E.A.M. (Temporary Emergency Accommodation Midlands) over the past number of years and we will continue to do so this year.
T.E.A.M. was founded by a group of people from Mullingar who had the vision to identify the need for a space where homeless women and children could feel safe and secure. Initially, T.E.A.M. catered for homeless women and children from the Mullingar area, but over the years the services have expanded to cater to the Midland counties of Laois, Longford, Offaly and Westmeath.Â
